March of a 1000 Flaming Skeletons - OKC, OK 10/24/09

I tried to do this last year but the last minute plans did not go through so I was definitely ready for this year! I called my brother who is always down for whatever and has the plane hookups. MARCH OF A 1000 FLAMING SKELETONS! The March is sponsored by the Flaming Lips and is one of over 100 entries in the Ghouls Gone Wild parade which had over 80 floats. We were pretty much the first ones to show up and minutes later Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips pulled up, he was super cool and talked with us for awhile, very genuine dude.









It was a do it yourself face painting session. 3.2 beer sucks.

Met these dudes in the parking lot, I suck at remembering names, Ethan and the dude who's wallet I found and returned, thanks for sharing your beers!


Wayne followed the skeletons in the space bubble, our plan was to be the last in line so that Wayne and the furries would be behind us, worked fine except they put a fire truck between us so we couldn't see him.

I'm not sure how long the line of skeletons stretched, it was as far as I could see. The March ended with Wayne somehow being in front of us and personally thanking each skeleton for participating, class act dude.
